Is Coastal Vacations Still Around?

Coastal Vacations sells travel and travel discount packages that provide discounted access to third-party travel services. It is not a seller of travel. In addition, CV assists its members in creating income through commissions paid for the recruiting of new members to CV (who in turn, if they too want more than discounted access to third-party travel services will recruit other members).

I Thought They Were No More

Given the nature of the internet, where stories can seem as current as morning coffee, you really have to search to find the calendar date of the contents you read. There are active Coastal Vacations associates and directors promoting the Coastal Vacations system right now (August, 2017). Some have the mistaken idea that Coastal Vacations is no longer with us.

Despite the scathing statements of public news sources, former Coastal Vacations members, and self-appointed investigators of potential scammers, it is true that Coastal Vacations continues. I mean look, you’re reading this for some reason, right?

What’s Current (Aug, 2017)

Coastal Vacations can be found at several internet locations. Among the most informative are:

Member Levels

Coastal Vacation memberships vary in cost and in privileges per level.

  • The Coastal Vacations Level I discount travel membership package (considered the Resort Vacation Package) provides a minimum of twenty-five membership cards and a minimum of 24 vacation bonuses (customizable, but pre-set travel packages) inclusive of hotels, condos, restaurants, vehicle rentals, RV hookups, recreation, airfares, cruises, and theme parks. A value CV sets at over $15,000.
  • The Coastal Vacations Level 2 discount travel membership package (considered the International Vacation Package) provides all that the Level 1 package provides with hundreds of international vacations and unlimited cruises as well as a discounted ticket to one of CV’s training seminars. A value set by Coastal Vacations above $20,000.
  • The Coastal Vacations Level 3 discount travel membership package (considered the Universal Vacation Package) with thousands of vacations and hundreds of 5,6, or 7 day cruises and a discount ticket to one CV training seminar.

The contents of each membership level is best determined by visiting directly with the Coastal Vacations websites above or with a recognized Coastal Vacations associate or director. There is a $25 shipping cost to each membership package received.

The Opportunity

A presentation is provided by a Coastal Vacations member as a CV associate or CV director.

The prospective member can choose to join at one of three levels of enrollment. Each is an upfront cost of:

  • $1,295 LEVEL 1
  • $3,500 LEVEL 2
  • $7,500 LEVEL 3

Financing and payment plan options can be discussed with Coastal Vacations representatives.

During the initial purchase these three member levels can be purchased at discounted rates by bundling two or more.

  • $3995  The Premier Package is a combination of membership LEVEL 1 and membership LEVEL 2. This is a savings of $800 off the combined cost of each level if purchased separately.
  • $11,000  The Platinum Package is a combination of all three membership levels (LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, and LEVEL 3). This is a savings of $1,295 off the combined cost of all three levels if purchased separately. The encouragement is you save the entire cost of a LEVEL 1 membership if you purchase the Platinum rather than the Premier package.

Compensation Plan

Coastal Vacations travel services provided to their members are not to be individually re-sold. Membership cards issued in the name of the member are not transferable, but individual vacation and airline discounts are transferable as a gift or donation.

That being said, then the compensation plan is based upon the membership costs of incoming Coastal Vacation members as recruited by existing members.

The compensation plan used by Coastal Vacations is commonly referred to as a “two up” or “pass up” plan. In today’s speak it is called the “Australian Two Up.” (although there are plenty of people in Australia that don’t like it).

In brief, a “two up” plan means the first two new members enrolled by an existing member are credited to the existing member’s upline. Existing member A, recruits new member B and new member C. Existing member A “passes up” to the one who enlisted member A all the commission due for both new members B and C.

There are three levels within the Coastal Vacations compensation plan corresponding to the three membership levels when a person joins. A new member receives commission equal to or below the membership level held by the member. A new member is encouraged to purchase at the highest level possible in order to receive corresponding commissions, and must pass up the first two commissions the new member recruits at that level or lower. All commissions after the first two will come directly to the member who recruits.

The commissions per each level are:

$1,000 LEVEL 1

$3,200 LEVEL 2 (package purchase)

$9,705 LEVEL 3 (package purchase)

3 Things That Hold People Back From Online Success

Starting something new is always a bit nerve-racking, especially when it involves making money.

Starting an online business can be an amazing adventure, but it can also come with some unexpected bumps in the road. You won’t get everything right when you’re first launching your business, but that’s okay as long as you have a plan in mind and know what it is you are trying to accomplish to achieve online success. Did you come up with your own product that you’re selling on an e-commerce site? Do you want to be an affiliate marketer? Are you selling your own digital products, like an e-course or coaching services?

No matter what it is you are trying to do to accomplish online, you must be aware of these 3 things that hold people back from achieving online success. If you can avoid these 3 common pitfalls, you will reach your goals and achieve the success you desire.

#1: I’m Afraid to Fail

News flash: everyone on the planet is at least slightly afraid of failure, especially those who are seeking online success. It’s part of human nature to be afraid of taking risks and falling flat on your face, but if you want to truly be a successful online entrepreneur you will have to endure failure. You need to admit to yourself out loud that becoming an online entrepreneur will come with setbacks and failures. You have to admit this to yourself before you take one step forward, because otherwise you will lose courage as the journey gets increasingly difficult. It’s not a question of if you will fail, but when. As long as you know what you’re aiming for failure shouldn’t scare you.

#2: I’m not an Expert 

The idea that you need a few fancy letters after your name to make money online is a very outdated concept. Yes, to practice medicine you do need to be a doctor—same thing goes for lawyers. But becoming an expert typically does not require you to be certified in anything other than your own life experience. If you are amazing at helping people save and invest their money, then you can make a great living teaching people online. Same thing goes for fitness. You don’t have to be a business expert to sell products online either. If you have experience in a specific area and you know how to get results for yourself and others, that’s all the expertise you need. Don’t let a few credentials keep you from living out your online business dream.

#3: I Have Things to Figure out

All of us have things to figure out. Do you think Steve Jobs knew every thing there is to know about computers and software before he started Apple? Do you think Mark Cuban knew everything about live streaming before he started his internet company Broadcast.com, and later sold it to Yahoo for billions of dollars? If you are waiting for all the stars to align and say you’re ready to launch an online business, you will be waiting forever. None of us are ready to take the next step—not really. What you need to do is have faith that with hard work, you’ll be able to learn what you need to learn to be successful. But what you need to do right now is just take the leap. There will never be a perfect time to start your online business—that perfect time is right now. Here’s to your success!!

3 Things You Must Have to Make Money From Home!

I told you I’d share a successful home business must have in my last post.  I’m a man of my word and I want you to know exactly what you need to be looking for if you want ever want to make a lucrative income.  The first one goes without saying you need an amazing product, but not just any product.  You need a product people want.  Second, you must have a solid system on getting clients, showing clients the details and bringing clients to a decision and finally you need Dani Johnson’s training and a solid way to implement it.  I’ll share more on that in a moment!

First, let’s talk about the product you need a product that people want to buy, not just what they need.  Ask any life insurance sales man, everyone is going to die and everyone needs life insurance.  Not everyone “wants” to buy life insurance!  For me I chose the travel industry, why?  Ask 1,000 people what they would do if they won the lottery and 990 of them will probably say travel the world, go on an amazing vacation and give their family and friends memories.  Most people go into debt just to take a vacation every single year.  So when you find a product people want now make sure it’s got a solid track record.  Ideally something that’s been around for 20+ years, then you have real stability

Second, you should never have to create websites, video’s or other presentations.  Look to work with an organization that has already done that.  The company or group you work with should already have in place not only websites, contact management systems, toll-free numbers, pre-written emails and tons of results of people using those websites and tools successfully and succeeding. Do you have access to the same thing other successful people before you have used?  Bottom line is there a very simple way to have constant fresh clients interested in what you have and coming to you?

Third, there has to be solid training in place.  As long as you have a product that is lucrative, you just need someone to walk you step by step how to successfully market it and deal with your new clients. No one teaches this better than Dani Johnson, she has scripts that you can use with your websites that show you how to start the conversation and turn da-luxury-lifestylea prospect into a client from A to Z.  I often times tell people I just want to learn to master everything Dani teaches and become really good a showing others how to apply it to our products and business model.  The key you have to ask your self do you have someone who you can regularly connect with?  Someone who’s already making 6 figures and has for years.  Do you have their phone number, email and do they answer or respond when you reach out them. Do they always have an answer to train you with.

If you got started with a product and/or company but you don’t have that training Dani Johnson should absolutely become your base line!  Use her training, buy her script books right away, I made 104,000 dollars my first year using her training.  Previously I had never worked from home before and that was over 10 years ago.  104,000 dollars is the least I’ve ever made, period.  Use her training, it has helped 1,000’s generate 10,000’s of 1,000’s working from home.

So if you want to make a lucrative income working from home and you’ve found a product that pays well to market and it’s a product people WANT not just need.  If you’ve found a system that works and others are making 6 figures and if you have someone training you showing step by step how to apply exactly what Dani Johnson teaches you are well on your way to a 6 Figure income!

How To Become a Superstar in Direct Sales!

homepagegraphicmontageconDirect sales, in particular it’s sub-type, network marketing, is often viewed negatively. A bad experience with an overzealous or outright dishonest rep, as well as myths and misunderstandings about direct sales keep many people away from this home business option.

However, direct sales is a viable way to start a home based business if you go in with the right attitude, knowledge, and willingness to work.

 Here are tips for achieving success in direct sales and MLM.

1) Understand that it’s a business like any other business.

Direct sales marketers have the tendency to water down the plan so that it’s easy to understand, but that can also give the impression that it’s easy to do. “Help five people get eight people, and you’ll get a free car.” What they don’t tell you is that you’ll need to talk to at least 50 people to get the five people, and help them talk to at least 80 people each to get their eight.

Success in direct sales comes from the same things that make any other business a success; know your market, find them, deliver a message that appeals to them, and service them well.

2) Use your company’s products and services.

The best direct sales rep use and love their products. They talk about them with enthusiasm, which is what helps sell them. Using your products and services also gives you personal experiences and information so you can discuss them honestly and accurately with potential customers.

 3) Read and understand your company’s marketing and compensation plan, and policies.

Some companies forbid you to use their name in your marketing. Others don’t allow you to set up your own consultant website. The point is, buying into a business means there may be rules and restrictions you need to abide by.

Further, to maximize your income, you need to know the best way to make money. Which products are the most popular and earn you the most income? How can you earn bonuses? What are the overrides by helping others start a business?

4) Determine the best market for your products, services, and business plan.

Most direct sales companies start new reps by having them make a list of 100 people. While you might find your new customers and business partners in this list, this method isn’t the most efficient way to get started. In all other business models, you want to find the best buyers of your products and focus on them. Identifying your target market means you don’t waste time trying to pitch people who don’t want what you’re selling.

Further, in direct sales, there is a tendency to focus on targeting people who want to make money, and that’s not bad, but you’re better off focusing on people who want to make money AND would like your products and services. People aren’t going to be successful selling something they can’t get behind.

Further, retail sales is a part of how money is made, but you can’t sell products to people who don’t want or need them. So figure out who wants and needs what you’re selling.

5) Figure out where you can find your target market.

General advertising and promotion doesn’t work as well as sending your message directly to your market. What websites do they surf, what magazines do they read, what organizations do they belong to, etc.? That’s where you want to focus your marketing efforts.

6) Determine how your market can benefit from your products, services, and business plan.

Will your customers gain energy, become smarter, cook better, feel confident? Reframe all the great things about your product and business into benefits. If your products are non-toxic, what does that mean? Fewer asthma spells? Less allergies? Poor marketing strategies are one of the top reasons home businesses fail, so develop a marketing plan that highlights your company’s benefits to your target market.

7) Differentiate yourself from the thousands of other people who are working with the same company.

Why should people buy from you rather than that other rep who lives next door? Some ways to set yourself apart are to offer a higher level of service, give discounts or freebies, set up a loyalty program, etc. The key is to find a way to stand out from all the others selling the same thing you are.

8)  Develop your own website and marketing tools, if allowed by your company.

This is another way you can differentiate yourself and customize what you offer. For example, on your own website you can offer an email newsletter with tips and helpful hints. Print business cards with an offer, such as a free consultation or a discount.

9) Network to find your market.

As already mentioned, most direct sales companies recommend making a list of 100 people, which can be a good place to start, except if none of those 100 people need your product or business. Instead, use your network to help you find people in your target market.

10) Make appointments.

Direct sales work because it’s a people to people business. Whether you’re showing a product or introducing the business plan, you have to do it in front of people. The direct sales reps who make the most presentations are usually the ones who win.

11) Develop a system for staying in touch with prospects, clients, and new business builders.

The fortune is in the follow-up! Too often, direct sales consultants give up after the first ‘no.’ But that ‘no’ may actually mean ‘it’s not a good time.’ Newsletters are a great way to keep your name in front of people, so if the time becomes right, they can contact you. Good customer service and continued contact goes a long way to getting repeat and referral business (for all types of businesses, not just direct sales). Well you don’t want to annoy people, you do want to create a system for staying in touch until they tell to stop.

Finally, if you’ve helped someone start their business, it’s your job to train, mentor and support them. Your success depends partly on their success.

12) Make a commitment to not quit.

Despite what the nay-sayers will tell you, the failure rate in network marketing and direct sales isn’t any more than any other home business opportunity. Just as many people give up selling on eBay, freelancing their skills, blogging and more. What differentiates success from failure in any home business is commitment to never quit. That means learning to overcome rejection, avoiding mistakes, and staying the course towards success.

Coastal Travel Vacations Basic Overview

Coastal Vacations is an association of business owners that market travel packages at wholesale prices and sell them for retail or a business opportunity. There are three different Coastal Vacations travel packages ranging anywhere from $1295 to $11,000. Of course, the higher the price, the more the travel benefits.

The Coastal Vacations packages generally promise an up to 75% on its vacations and cruises compared to regular retail prices if bought directly from a travel agency or the hotel or cruise line.

Coastal Vacations includes in its travel packages over 22 membership cards with discounts in hotels, cruises, golfing, RVing, camping, dining, condo stays, gas, groceries, car rental, and more. Pretty much all things travel and entertainment are covered in the Coastal Vacations package.

Hotels like the Wyndham and cruise lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean as well as Celebrity Cruises have partnered with vendors included in the Coastal Vacations packages to offer the Coastal Vacations travel members free hotel stays and cruises where only taxes and fees are required by the traveler.

The Coastal Vacations travel packages includes many vacations, and all of them are transferable, so they can be given as gifts, at fundraisers, as business incentives, and to anyone you want, but they cannot be sold individually.

The Coastal Vacations members are never required to attend a timeshare presentation or any other travel plan out there. Coastal Vacations has managed to put together a pretty thorough quality package for a very affordable price.

The Coastal Vacation, despite what is being said out there, in my opinion are not pricey at all. This is because the average American family of 4 spends at least $2800 every single year on vacation. That means that in a 10-year period, the average American family spends $28000 on vacation, and the highest priced Coastal Vacations package costs only $11,000 and includes a lifetime of unlimited all-inclusive hotel stays and cruises, and that means it is for life.

So, in my general opinion, Coastal Vacations offers both the travel and the smart business entrepreneur great opportunities to both make money and really travel for pennies on the dollar.

The culinary temptations of Kauai are extraordinary.  The gastronomy provides a taste of Hawaiian delicacies blended with multicultural influences. Throughout the island aromas from elegantly created foods like seafood, pork teriyaki chicken and beef, mango cilantro, fill the local restaurants. With the backdrops of gorgeous sceneries smooth sounds of live entertainment in the background, the vibes at the restaurants are irresistible.  No matter what foods you may be craving, there is a plethora of cuisines that will delight any pallet.

Kauai experiences a subtropical climate. During the summer (June-October) the weather averages around the high 80s to mid 70s.  In the winter (December-April) the temperatures fluctuate between the high 70s to mid 60s.

Lihue Airport is Kanai’s main gateway to the other Hawaiian Islands and locations around the world.  Renting a car is a convenient way to discover the island’s famous attractions. Shuttles also provide sightseeing journeys to of some of the major sites and there are a variety of tours that travel to various scenic locations and tourist attractions. Get a bird’s eye view of the picturesque landscape by taking a helicopter or plane ride. However, strolling on the beach or through the island’s narrow pathways is a leisurely way to enjoy the weather and overwhelming beauty.
