Where Do I Start as an Online Entrepreneur?!

So you want to get into online business? Good for you! Becoming an online entrepreneur can help you reach customers around the world and achieve your dream income and lifestyle. In fact, as of December 2015, it was estimated that approximately 2.5 billion people were logging onto the Internet every single day and spending millions of dollars online. Becoming an online entrepreneur gives you the chance to have a piece of that pie.

Being an online entrepreneur not only gives you the potential to succeed immensely, but it gives you the freedom to work where you want, how you want, and create the type of business you want to have. Gone would be the 9-5 hour days of sitting at a desk. Instead, you could be sitting on a plane to Hawaii while your business makes money for you.

This all sounds great but you are probably wondering where to start as an online entrepreneur. Like with everything else in life, you need to start with the basics. If you want to build an online business and become a successful online entrepreneur, start by following these steps.

Online Entrepreneur

Find a Need…Then Fill It

The first question you need to ask when starting an online business is what will your business sell? Will it be physical products, software, clothing, or something else? Now, this is a bit of a trick question because that is where most new entrepreneurs start…with the product. If you really want to be successful then you first need to find a need.

Pick an audience and discover what problems and trials they face in their everyday lives that don’t have a solution. Once you know that, then create a product that fills that need. Your online business will be much more successful if you start by solving a problem rather than by merely creating a cool product.

Build a Strong Base

When you become an online entrepreneur, there are a few things you absolutely must have. You must have a killer website, an email list, and a social media presence. This is especially the case if you have an online presence only. New customers will only be able to find you online and if you lack these three elements, you’ll be lost amidst the other online companies.

When it comes to creating a killer website, you must always think of the customer’s experience first. Keep it simple, clean, and easy to navigate. Also, make sure it loads quickly. You only have a few seconds, less than 5, to keep a customer’s attention before they leave your site. Make sure you include an opt-in offer (free content, discounts, etc) in exchange for email addresses to help you build your email list.

Sending emails is still one of the best ways to get a customer to convert. Plus, if you have obtained email addresses through your website or other opt-in offers, then you know the recipients want to hear from you. This gives you an even better chance of having them convert and buy your products.

Social media is one of the darlings of the marketing world right now and it would do your online business good to jump in as well. Keeping a consistent presence on social media sites can help you build an audience that is interested in your business. Building an audience of friends and followers that are loyal helps give your business a better reputation. Make sure though, that you only use social media platforms that help your business. Otherwise, you will be wasting your time.

Create a Good Reputation

One of the most important things you need to understand about online business is that people buy from people/companies they trust. If you want new customers, then you have to be a trustworthy company. There are several ways you can do this but here are two that we think are especially important.

The first way to create a good reputation is to establish yourself as an expert in your market. Publish free content that your audience will find useful including articles, videos, and infographics etc. Setting yourself up as an authority figure, especially as an online entrepreneur, will help your business gain the credibility it needs to succeed.

The second way to build up your reputation is through customer interaction and customer reviews. Customers will leave reviews on social media, Google, and other online sites. It is important for you to always follow-up with the reviews, whether they are positive or negative. Make sure you work through the problems that your customers face to let them know that you care about them as a customer. Potential customers will see this interaction and know that they can trust your company because of it.

Start Building Your Online Business Now

Becoming an online entrepreneur is a rewarding career and carries with it a lot of potential for success. When you start your online business, stick to the basics to get yourself off the ground. Find a need and then fill it with a great product, build a strong base, and create and obtain a good reputation. Staying on top of these three things will help you excel as an online entrepreneur and will cause your business to grow immensely.

See you at the top!!

3 Things That Hold People Back From Online Success

Starting something new is always a bit nerve-racking, especially when it involves making money.

Starting an online business can be an amazing adventure, but it can also come with some unexpected bumps in the road. You won’t get everything right when you’re first launching your business, but that’s okay as long as you have a plan in mind and know what it is you are trying to accomplish to achieve online success. Did you come up with your own product that you’re selling on an e-commerce site? Do you want to be an affiliate marketer? Are you selling your own digital products, like an e-course or coaching services?

No matter what it is you are trying to do to accomplish online, you must be aware of these 3 things that hold people back from achieving online success. If you can avoid these 3 common pitfalls, you will reach your goals and achieve the success you desire.

#1: I’m Afraid to Fail

News flash: everyone on the planet is at least slightly afraid of failure, especially those who are seeking online success. It’s part of human nature to be afraid of taking risks and falling flat on your face, but if you want to truly be a successful online entrepreneur you will have to endure failure. You need to admit to yourself out loud that becoming an online entrepreneur will come with setbacks and failures. You have to admit this to yourself before you take one step forward, because otherwise you will lose courage as the journey gets increasingly difficult. It’s not a question of if you will fail, but when. As long as you know what you’re aiming for failure shouldn’t scare you.

#2: I’m not an Expert

The idea that you need a few fancy letters after your name to make money online is a very outdated concept. Yes, to practice medicine you do need to be a doctor—same thing goes for lawyers. But becoming an expert typically does not require you to be certified in anything other than your own life experience. If you are amazing at helping people save and invest their money, then you can make a great living teaching people online. Same thing goes for fitness. You don’t have to be a business expert to sell products online either. If you have experience in a specific area and you know how to get results for yourself and others, that’s all the expertise you need. Don’t let a few credentials keep you from living out your online business dream.

#3: I Have Things to Figure out

All of us have things to figure out. Do you think Steve Jobs knew every thing there is to know about computers and software before he started Apple? Do you think Mark Cuban knew everything about live streaming before he started his internet company Broadcast.com, and later sold it to Yahoo for billions of dollars? If you are waiting for all the stars to align and say you’re ready to launch an online business, you will be waiting forever. None of us are ready to take the next step—not really. What you need to do is have faith that with hard work, you’ll be able to learn what you need to learn to be successful. But what you need to do right now is just take the leap. There will never be a perfect time to start your online business—that perfect time is right now. Here’s to your success!!

Coastal Travel Vacations Basic Overview

kauai-banner

Coastal Vacations is an association of business owners that market travel packages at wholesale prices and sell them for retail or a business opportunity. There are three different Coastal Vacations travel packages ranging anywhere from $1295 to $11,000. Of course, the higher the price, the more the travel benefits.

The Coastal Vacations packages generally promise an up to 75% on its vacations and cruises compared to regular retail prices if bought directly from a travel agency or the hotel or cruise line.

Coastal Vacations includes in its travel packages over 22 membership cards with discounts in hotels, cruises, golfing, RVing, camping, dining, condo stays, gas, groceries, car rental, and more. Pretty much all things travel and entertainment are covered in the Coastal Vacations package.

Hotels like the Wyndham and cruise lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean as well as Celebrity Cruises have partnered with vendors included in the Coastal Vacations packages to offer the Coastal Vacations travel members free hotel stays and cruises where only taxes and fees are required by the traveler.

The Coastal Vacations travel packages includes many vacations, and all of them are transferable, so they can be given as gifts, at fundraisers, as business incentives, and to anyone you want, but they cannot be sold individually.

The Coastal Vacations members are never required to attend a timeshare presentation or any other travel plan out there. Coastal Vacations has managed to put together a pretty thorough quality package for a very affordable price.

The Coastal Vacation, despite what is being said out there, in my opinion are not pricey at all. This is because the average American family of 4 spends at least $2800 every single year on vacation. That means that in a 10-year period, the average American family spends $28000 on vacation, and the highest priced Coastal Vacations package costs only $11,000 and includes a lifetime of unlimited all-inclusive hotel stays and cruises, and that means it is for life.

So, in my general opinion, Coastal Vacations offers both the travel and the smart business entrepreneur great opportunities to both make money and really travel for pennies on the dollar.

Now that’s a very nice, basic Overview!

Are You Always An Overcomer.. Really?

Good-to-Great-Families-slider-960x350

One of the topics that’s often discussed here is always overcoming.  When a normal person looks in it can often be perceived like success is so dang hard.  Something is always trying to stop you in life, maybe it’s not worth it.  A true entrepreneurs knows 3 things.  First It’s always worth it and second we have to ALWAYS overcome some challenge or we have just overcome something and we are inspiring someone else to do the same.

Let’s talk about being worth it for a moment.  Look at people like Steve Jobs, he was fired from the company he started and took to a 2 billion dollar company at 30 years old.  Over coming that obstacle is what made him who he became.  My last post I wrote about Steve Harvey,  Steve Harvey today is one of the funniest TV host ever.  But through the eighties he was homeless off and on several times living out of his truck between comedy gigs.  If Steve Harvey gave up then what?  Dani Johnson, was homeless on the beach in Hawaii.  That obstacle inspired her to start a business and become a millionaire in 2 years.  Barbara Corcoran, was a woman and wanted to start a career in real estate in New York where it was a man’s game.  Because of that obstacle and overcoming it she turned 1,000 dollar loan into 100 million dollars.

Success isn’t complicated but it’s never going to be easy.  How many people had a ton of ideas of what they wanted life to be like when they were 18 or 19.  Let me ask you, what did you want to do when you were 18?  What did you plan for your life to look like back then?  Who were you going to marry?  What were your kids going to be like?  What kind of house were you going to live in?  What trips and experiences were you going to have?  Why did you let life stop you from doing those things?  Your time could come when you are in your 20’s like it did for Dani Johnson, or 30’s like it did for Steve Jobs or even your 40’s or 50’s like it did for Steve Harvey.  What if Steve Harvey stopped pursuing comedy for a “stable” job? You will have to face your challenges at some point, you either look for the easiest way around it or you take it head on and go through it!

Finally we are supposed to over come a challenge and then share that testimony with others to inspire them.  I started a small business from my home over the internet.

I think every person who has had success is attempting to share that success and if you listen they are even trying to tell you how they did it.  From Steve Harvey, to Dani Johnson and even me just sharing my experiences.  Too often people can come up with all kinds of things that are stopping them from moving forward.  Sometimes you need just one reason to take action and overcome.

35-Day Hawaii, Tahiti and South Pacific Sun Princess

It sounds almost cliché at times to call Hawaii a paradise. The orange sherbet sunrises, verdant rainforests, golden and black sand beaches and smoking volcanoes will have visitors rethinking their definition of the word. There is nothing cliché about these islands. Hawaii captures not only the vast natural beauty of the state, but also the indelible warmth and spirit of the people who call it home.

With 19 distinct volcanic islands, Hawaii is an archipelago located over a geological hotspot in the Central Pacific. Six of these islands are open toImage result for Rainbow Falls and Kaumana Caves visitors and have a tourism-driven economy. The Big Island of Hawaii is the largest of the islands and is home to the most active volcano in the world, located in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Hilo is the largest city on the Big Island and home to natural wonders including Rainbow Falls and Kaumana Caves.

The most populous and developed island, Oahu is home to the state’s capital, Honolulu. It is the governmental and commercial hub of the island chain, and arguably one of the best-known destinations in Hawaii. Waikiki Beach has become a mainstay for tourism with its hotels, high-rises, surfers and sun-worshipers who gather here year-round. Just to the west of Honolulu is Pearl Harbor. Visit the national memorial and museum for an insightful and solemn look back into the start of the United States’ involvement in World War II.

Image result for Lahaina, Kaanapali and KapaluaMaui, the second-largest of the islands, has several resort areas on the western side including Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua. In addition to luxury resorts, championship golf courses and endless shopping opportunities, stunning views can be seen from the summit of Haleakala National Park or by taking a helicopter ride over the volcanoes, jungles and beaches of the island. Known as the “Garden Isle,” Kauai is covered with lush tropical plants and is home to several natural wonders such as the Na Pali Coast, Wailua River and Waimea Canyon. As a top diving destination, Kauai has beautiful, unspoiled coral reefs and a variety of fish not found anywhere else in the world. Molokai and Lanai are the least-developed islands of Hawaii and are perfect for a relaxing and secluded beach getaway.

A multiethnic blend of American, Asian and Polynesian influences, Hawaiian cuisine has been making a resurgence with fine and casual dining throughout the state. Replacing pizza and burgers as the late-night comfort food of choice, ethnic noodle stands and houses are popping up in greater numbers. Check out Hamura’s Saimin Stand (think homemade ramen noodle soup) in Kauai or Jimbo’s Restaurant in Oahu. Another staple in local Hawaiian cuisine are plate lunches. These usually consist of a single plate with scoops of rice and a protein, such as kalua pork, beef teriyaki or chicken katsu. For a romantic atmosphere with an incredible view, try the CanoeHouse on the Big Island. The local seafood offerings like Hawaiian snapper and gobo shrimp reflect the restaurants’ Pacific Rim origins. One of the best upscale restaurants in Maui, David Paul’s Lahaina Grill serves signature dishes like seared Ahi tuna with jasmine rice or kalua duck.

All international flights and the majority of those coming from the mainland U.S. arrive at Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on the island of Oahu. Direct service from the mainland is also available for smaller airports in Kahului on Maui, Kona on the Big Island and Lihue on Kauai. From each of these airports, travelers can connect to an inter-island flight using Hawaiian Airlines, MarJet Hawaii, Mokulele Airlines, Island Air, Pacific Wings and the discount carrier, Go! While on Oahu, the cheapest way to get around is the public transportation system called TheBus. There are taxis on all the islands, but for longer stays it’s more efficient to rent a car. Be sure to book your rental car as soon as possible, as prices are based on supply and demand.

Image result for weather in Hawaii

Boasting 11 different climate zones, the weather in Hawaii can vary greatly due to elevation and terrain. The overall climate of Hawaii is subtropical due to the close proximity to the ocean, which moderates temperatures with gentle leeward breezes. There are only two seasons in Hawaii – summer (May to October) with average highs around 85°F, and winter (November to April) with temperatures that rarely fall below 65°F. Areas on the northern and eastern flanks of the islands will receive the most rainfall due to trade winds bringing in precipitation. The winter months tend to bring the most rain, yet there is no best or worst time to visit. The high season runs from mid-December to mid-April, when flights and hotel prices are the most expensive. The crowds tend to thin out from mid-April to May, as well as mid-September to November; this is the best time to find great deals.

Painted with coconut palm trees, the popular Coconut Coast showcases different faces of culture from water activities such as mountain tubing to historic attractions like the Sleeping Giant. Turks and Caicos

turks-and-caicos-beaches

The Turks & Caicos Islands are two islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the Bahamas. The islands were part of the United Kingdom’s Jamaican colony until 1959, when they assumed the title of a separate crown colony. Although independence was agreed upon for 1982, the policy was reversed and the islands are presently a British overseas territory.

Turks & Caicos is arid compared with other Caribbean destinations; the island receives less than 50 inches of rainfall annually and generally lacks the lush landscape found across other Caribbean nations. Still, the islands are consistently favored by sunshine and cooling breezes, and the beaches rank with the Caribbean’s best. The Turks & Caicos’ primary appeal is its status as a mostly undiscovered and not overly developed tourism destination.

Providenciales is the main tourism city although not the capital (which is Grand Turk). It features a handful of attractions including the Provo Golf Club, the island’s only 18-hole championship course, site of the 1999 and 2009 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships. There are also various operators offering dive tours at reefs across the island. Travelers can also rent a boat for a full or half-day, or enjoy virtually every form of water sports, from parasailing to sail boarding. Picnics on exclusive private beaches can be arranged and there are multiple spots for snorkeling among the island’s exotic fish and coral. The Turks & Caicos has one of the world’s longest coral reefs, making it a premier dive destination.

turksandcaicos_beachkandi_01

Horseback riding and kite boarding are other available activities; visitors can take in the Caicos Conch Farm to learn about the life cycle of the conch, an unofficial island symbol. Fishing excursions are also available. The Turk & Caicos has an upscale beach-side dining scene, with a wide variety of restaurants including the popular Hemingway’s at the Sands at Grace Bay hotel. Grand Turk attractions include a historic lighthouse, which features a keeper’s residence and a kerosene storage building, all built of local limestone blocks. For generations, the lighthouse served as mariners’ sole beacon to avoid the treacherous northeast reef, which extends eastward far out to sea and was responsible for multiple shipwrecks.

Cruise ships call at the Carnival Cruise Line’s beachfront terminal in Grand Turk, which represents the islands’ closest link to mass tourism. Located toward the south end of the island, the terminal complex features a tourism village with shops and restaurants, an oversized pool where guests can rent private cabana, and an 800-foot-long beach. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is one of the popular eateries featured found here.

Upon departing, travelers should arrive at the airport approximately three to four hours before their fight time, especially on Saturdays, when lines can extend out of the airport doors.
